KOPFKINO

Kopfkino is a piece that is halfway between the cinematographic and the choreographic. Its main center is the analysis of bodies in contemporary cinema from de gender perspective. A fresh and rigorous work where the bodies of the three performers are the only elements in an empty space. A performative tour de force that takes those bodies to extreme until their meaning is transformed and constantly refers us to the fictional bodies of cinema that we have consumed in the last fifty years.

To what extent do fictions we have consumed influence us when it comes to conceiving the world and ourselves? This is Kopfkino's driving question, a piece that uses the body as a fundamental tool to immerse ourselves in the margin spaces that are generated when fiction and everyday life meet.
